Carla A. Simmons, M.Ed. ‚Äč-- Mrs. Simmons received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Southwestern Adventist University.  She is certified to teach grades Pre-K – 12 and has been teaching elementary education for 23 years.  Some of her achievements include assisting in curriculum develop for the Adventist Education System as well as conducting webinars on a national basis.  She has been named Teacher of the Year 2007.  In her words, "My primary goals are to help students develop a personal relationship with Jesus and to provide them the best possible educational foundation."

Rebecka Sauls, M.Ed. --
Rebecka received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Elementary Education from Southwestern Adventist University and a Master’s degree in Reading Literacy from Concordia Lutheran University.  Her experience includes teaching for 17 years in the Adventist Educational system.  In her words “I am a servant of God. I want to teach the children to grow spiritually, strive for educational excellence, and serve God in all aspects of their lives. Teaching has been a blessing to me.”

Sherry Clapp, M.Ed. -- Mrs. Clapp has been teaching for the Texas Conference for the past 24 years in Houston, San Antonio, and Victoria.  She and her husband, Gene, have two grown sons, two lovely daughters-in-law, and a cat named Tuxedo.  She loves to read, travel, camp, and quilt.  She has been active in youth ministries most of her adult life, working with summer camps and Pathfinders.  She grew up in Florida and Georgia, earned her Bachelor’s degree from Southern Adventist University. After living in Tennessee for a few years, the Clapps moved to Texas where she earned her MEd from Southwestern Adventist University.
